MEETING PLACE
The 2006 GSHA Convention will be at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia, located at 4355 Ashford Dunwoody, Atlanta, GA 30346.  In the heart of Atlanta's thriving Perimeter Center, the Crowne Plaza Ravinia is conveniently located in proximity to abundant shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
A limited number of rooms has been reserved at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia a special rate of $109/night for GSHA convention participants. To be assured of this rate, make your reservation prior to March 1, 2006.  Rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so book early. The room block will close on March 1.  To make your hotel accommodations, please call the hotel directly at 770-395-7700 and tell them you are with the GSHA Convention.  You cannot get the GSHA rate by making reservations online.

DIRECTIONS
From Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport:  I-85 North through downtown Atlanta.  Take GA 400 North (Exit 87, Toll Road $0.50).  Go North to I-285 East (Exit 4A).  Proceed to Exit 29 (Ashford/Dunwoody Rd.).  Turn left on Ashford-Dunwoody Rd. and cross the bridge.  The Crowne Plaza Ravinia will be on your immediate right.

CONTINUING EDUCATION INFORMATION
The Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology. This program is offered for up to 1.6 CEUs (Intermediate level, Professional area). ASHA CE Provider approval does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures.  PLUs have been applied for.

HANDOUTS
To ensure enough handouts for everyone, GSHA will be providing speaker presentations on computer CDs. You will not receive paper copied handouts.

REGISTRATION and FEES
The registration form must be postmarked no later than February 27, 2006, to qualify for the pre-registration reduced fee. Registrations postmarked after February 27, 2006, will require a late registration fee as shown on the registration form enclosed. We will adhere strictly to this deadline. If you plan to register after February 27, 2006, please e-mail the GSHA office at execdir@gsha.org to check on space availability. Payment must accompany the registration form.

LUNCHEON
The full-conference registration fee includes the Association Luncheon at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2006, all refreshment breaks, and a CD of speaker presentations. One-day registration does not include the luncheon on Friday, March 24. Luncheon tickets can be purchased separately at an additional cost.

GSHA MEMBERSHIP
To become a member of GSHA and qualify for the lower convention rates, please include a membership application and dues payment with your convention registration. You can download a membership application by clicking here.

CONFIRMATIONS and REFUND POLICY
If you register online, you will receive an e-mail confirmation of registration.  Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the GSHA Management Office and postmarked no later than March 16, 2006. A $20 cancellation fee will be assessed. Refunds will not be processed until after the convention.
