Membership Benefits
Membership Levels
Regular Membership
Those who have a
Master's Degree or equivalent with the major emphasis in
speech-language pathology, audiology, speech and hearing science,
or education of the hearing impaired; or who have a Master's
Degree or equivalent in another field, with evidence of active
research, interest or performance in the field of human
communication.
Association Membership
Those who have a
Bachelor's Degree, but who do not meet the academic requirements
for Regular Membership.
Student Membership
Those enrolled in a
full-time undergraduate or graduate program in one of the
following areas: Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology,
Speech and Hearing Science, or Education of the Hearing Impaired,
or in a related field with demonstrated evidence of active
research, interest and/pr performance in the field of human
communication.
Life Members
Those who have held
membership for 10 years and have attained the age of 65; annual
dues are waived.
Honorary Members
Those chosen by the
Executive Council as having made unusual contributions to GSHA.
