The Stuttering Evolution Group

Beginning in January 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia

The Stuttering Evolution Group is a new therapeutic group for people who stutter. It will be facilitated by Tim Mackesey.  It will combine traditional support group practices of acceptance with new therapeutic strategies to promote evolution and growth within pws.   After more than three decades of participating in traditional support groups and providing therapy for 26 years I want to offer more to participants. I often left meetings feeling some relief in sharing my story and knowing that I wasn't alone, but mostly I left feeling I wanted more. It is this "more" that I want to offer participants.  Acceptance logically leads to evolution and evolution includes fear reductiongreater ease talking, and a path to your communication goals.  Participation in this group is free thanks to Raise Your Voice, Inc.

                     Sincerely, Tim Mackesey, CCC-SLP, BCS-F
