Award NominationsGeneral InformationEach year, the Georgia Speech-Language-Hearing Association (GSHA) presents awards to its members at the Business Meeting at the Annual GSHA Convention. These awards are presented to individuals who make distinguished contributions and who are recognized for professional and/or scientific achievements in the field of speech-language pathology and audiology. The immediate past president serves as the chair of the Honors and Awards Board and the members include chairs of the Membership, Student Affairs, Schools, Healthcare and Private Practice, and Higher Education committee. The Board convenes prior to the Convention, reviews the nominations, and submits its recommendations to the Executive Council for approval. GSHA’s member community has the opportunity to nominate individuals for following honors and awards:

GSHA cares about our students' success. We are collecting contributions towards the GSHA Student Success Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship Fund which will award monetary award(s) to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in the field of speech language pathology and audiology in the state of Georgia. Qualified recipients will receive funds to assist with the cost of books and/or the cost of the Praxis exam.Please note: GSHA is a professional organization with a 501 C-6 status and the contributions made to this fund are NOT tax deductible. |
